Today was our final day of VBS and we had two new friends join us!  We started out with more silly songs, then played games.  Then we reviewed the lessons from the first three days and observed all of the evidence we had collected during the week to answer these questions:

- is Jesus really God’s son?

- was Jesus’ death real? 

- is Jesus alive?

We read about what the eye witnesses in the Bible had to say. Then we talked about what the kids should do with the evidence.  There have been a lot of great conversations with the kids this week, praise God. The kids have listened so intently all week and some of them commented that their favorite part was the lesson time.  

Listening to the kids read the Bible in their language has been such a blessing.  They memorized the VBS verse, 1 Peter 3:15, in Catalan this week too. 

Next, we had lunch with the Parnells and they shared with us that our presence has been an encouragement to them.  We were all so happy to hear this because this was one of the goals of our trip.  We could really see and hear that they have been refreshed and lifted up this week.  

After lunch we traveled to the beautiful beach town of Tossa de Mar.  We enjoyed some amazing views and down time.  In the evening we had another delicious meal and some of us had a Spanish waffle dessert called "gofres."  Looking forward to another great day tomorrow!
