    • SAY: “Today, we learned that God had big news to share. The very first person He told was a lady named Mary, and God sent an angel to tell her! On your paper is a big letter . . . A! That’s right! And what did we learn ‘A’ is for? (Pause.) Angel! Good job! You’re going to turn this letter A into an angel. What do angels have? (Pause.) Wings, that’s right. To give your angel its first wing, we need to trace one hand with this pencil. (Pause.) Now trace your other hand on the other side of the ‘A.’ (Pause.) Fantastic! What sweet angel A’s you made! ‘A’ is for . . . Angel! In our story today, we learned that God loved us way before we were even born! Isn’t that amazing? God loves us so much that He gave us Jesus. God sent an angel to tell Mary that she would have a baby and His name would be Jesus. The angel told her that Jesus would grow up and do amazing things. I’m so glad that God loves us so much that He gave us Jesus, and we get to celebrate Him at Christmas. How do we know God loves us? [Bottom Line:] God gave us Jesus.”
