“Let your light shine.” Matthew 5:16, NIV

Bottom Line: I can do what Jesus says.

This week: The Church loves like Jesus by sharing, praying, eating, and meeting with each other.

Discipleship Kit:

  • Parent Guide – Use this parent guide to help you walk through discipling your preschooler this week
  • Story Video – Each week there will be a new Story Video to watch (from Orange Media)
  • Memory Verse Video –  Your preschooler will learn this month’s memory verse along with hand signals

  • Home Connection
    • NEED: LEGO® DUPLO® blocks or MEGA Blocks
    • DO:
      • Before the Activity: Set out the blocks and gather the child to build.
      • During the Activity: Encourage the child to work together to build a house. Then ask them to build a table and a heart.
      • After the Activity: Introduce the Bible Story.
    • Say:
      • Before the Activity: “Friend, look at these blocks! Let’s do some building!”
      • During the Activity: “First, let’s work together to build a house. (Pause.) Your house looks great! Now, let’s build a table. (Pause.) Wow! You are so good at building. I have one last thing for you to build. Let’s work together to build a heart. (Pause.) Amazing! You did a great job, builders!”
      • After the Activity: “We worked together and built a house, a table, and a heart! We are going to hear about all these things in our Bible Story today. Come with me.”
  • Drive Time
    • While on the go, look for people who are letting their light shine. Are they saying kind words? Sharing? Helping? All of these are ways we can love like Jesus and let our light shine.
