Heights Missions Initiatives are year-round community outreach programs led by men and women from our church aimed at meeting different needs within our local community. Car Care
Car Care is a quarterly ministry that provides free car checkups and oil changes for those in need. It’s a practical way to serve our community and show the love of Christ in action. Whether you’re experienced with cars or simply willing to lend a hand, there’s a place for you to help meet this growing need. Learn more!
Circle of Friends
Circle of Friends ministers to adults with cognitive disabilities by offering family, fellowship, and love. Volunteers host a fellowship of about 75 adults on the first three Tuesdays of each month during the school year, and also lead a weekly Life Group designed to ensure everyone has a place at The Heights. Bukhair Care Team
Heights Loves Bukhair is an ongoing ministry to bless and encourage the students and staff at Bukhair Elementary. From teacher luncheons to coat drives for students, this ministry seeks to show Christ’s love in practical, tangible ways. There are always opportunities to get involved and make a difference in the life of this campus. Learn more!
Alpha
Alpha is a 10-week program specifically designed for skeptics and seekers. Each week, hosts and guests share a meal, watch a video about one of life’s big questions, and discuss their thoughts. This is an amazing way to start having spiritual conversations with the people in your life, and we believe that those who seek, find. Learn more!
International Free Lunch Club
UTD BSM hosts Free Lunch every Tuesday at 12 PM during the school semester. This program is an easy way to share a meal, meet international students, and build friendships that open doors to conversations about life, faith, and God. ESL Classes
ESL is offered each semester to help students of all levels improve their English in a supportive, welcoming environment. It’s a chance to build relationships, bless others, and share God’s love with those who may have never stepped into a church. Lighthouse Ministries
Lighthouse Community Ministries is our Heights in Spanish Congregation’s monthly outreach to families in the Park Central area. Each month, our church distributes free FoodPaks and builds relationships. Once a quarter, our Heights in Spanish and Heights in English congregations come together for a larger outreach, hosting parties, VBSs, and Christmas gift distribution. Learn more!
Kidz Point
Kidz Pointe is a ministry that meets every week during the semester at three Park Central apartment communities. Children come together for snacks, games, and a Bible story in a safe and welcoming environment. Prayer Shawl Ministry
The Prayer Shawl Ministry turns yarn and prayer into a powerful expression of God’s love. Each handmade shawl is given to someone who is hurting, sick, or in need of comfort, wrapping them in both warmth and prayer. Whether you’re a skilled crocheter or eager to learn, you can be part of this ministry—gathering occasionally for lunch and fellowship, or creating shawls from home. Learn more!

Quilted Blessings is a ministry that creates handmade quilts as a gift of love and encouragement for those in need. The Way
The Way is a ministry that shares the love of Jesus with women in the adult entertainment industry. Some serve by going out to meet these women with care and compassion, others by preparing gift packages to bless them, and many by faithfully praying.
