MEET THE SANDERFORD FAMILY

Tyler and Kelly Sanderford, along with their four children (ages 21, 18, 16, and 13), have faithfully served in Ukraine for 17 years. All four kids were dedicated at The Heights in Richardson, Texas, before the family followed God’s call overseas. As country leaders with The Navigators, Tyler and Kelly have devoted themselves to advancing the Gospel through life-on-life discipleship and the multiplication of spiritual generations. Due to the ongoing war, the family now resides in Budapest, Hungary, so their children can continue school, while remaining close to the Ukrainian border. Tyler regularly travels back into Ukraine, carrying supplies, praying with believers, and encouraging friends who continue to endure the hardships of war. 

ALL ABOUT THE SANDERFORD'S MINISTRY

The Sanderfords’ passion is to see Ukrainians transformed by the Gospel and discipling others in turn, even in the midst of conflict. Their ministry continues to embody the Navigators’ vision of advancing Christ’s Kingdom through intentional, generational disciple-making. 

Life-on-Life Discipleship 

  • Mentor and disciple believers to grow in maturity and multiply their faith in others. 
  • Foster spiritual generations of laborers who live and minister among the lost. 

    Encouragement in Wartime 

    • Travel monthly into Ukraine to visit, pray with, and encourage brothers and sisters in Christ. 
    • Deliver much-needed supplies to families and churches persevering under the pressures of war. 

      Leadership & Multiplication 

      • Serve as country leaders for The Navigators, equipping believers to lead and disciple others. 
      • Cast vision for Ukrainians to carry the Gospel into new communities despite hardship. 

      WAYS TO PRAY

      • Pray for faithfulness and endurance for believers in Ukraine as they follow Christ through the uncertainty of war. 
      • Pray for safe and successful border crossings as Tyler and others travel into Kyiv to support the church. 
      • Pray that the Lord would raise up additional workers with varied skills to encourage and strengthen Ukrainian believers. 
      • Pray for the Sanderford family’s health, provision, and continued ability to serve both in Hungary and Ukraine.
