MEET THE WARRINGTON FAMILY

Mark and Kaitlin Warrington serve with the Baptist Student Ministry (BSM) at the University of Texas at Dallas, one of the most diverse campuses in Texas. Mark is the BSM Director at UTD and also coordinates ministry efforts across Collin County. With over 17 years of experience in college ministry, he has a passion for equipping the next generation to follow Christ. Kaitlin serves as a cross-cultural consultant for the UTD BSM, working closely with international students to build relationships and share the hope of Jesus. Married with two children, the Warringtons embody a family dedicated to helping students from around the world encounter Christ and grow in Him. 

ALL ABOUT THE WARRINGTON'S MISSION

Through the UTD BSM, Mark and Kaitlin are investing in one of the largest international student populations in the state, using everyday opportunities to share the Gospel and disciple students. 

Mark’s Ministry 

  • Directs the Baptist Student Ministry at UTD and coordinates BSM efforts across Collin County. 
  • Equips and mentors students to follow Christ, lead Bible studies, and engage peers with the Gospel. 
  • Brings decades of experience in youth and college ministry to shape disciple-making leaders. 

Kaitlin’s Ministry 

  • Serves international students through cross-cultural ministry and relational evangelism. 
  • Uses her training in Global Leadership (MAGL) to build bridges across cultures with humility and sensitivity. 
  • Leads Bible studies, disciples women, and helps students navigate faith questions in a diverse campus environment. 

Shared Vision 

  • Welcome and serve students from all over the world at UTD, often beginning with simple acts like airport pick-ups, meals, and hospitality. 
  • Partner with Texas BSM to equip Christ followers to make disciples among both American and international students. 
  • Cultivate lifelong disciples who will carry the Gospel back to their home countries, multiplying Kingdom impact far beyond Texas. 

WAYS TO PRAY

  • Pray for the Warringtons to have wisdom and endurance as they lead in such a diverse and strategic ministry context. 
  • Pray for international students at UTD to experience Christ’s love through relationships with the BSM community. 
  • Pray for more workers to join the ministry, raising support and serving alongside the Warringtons in reaching students. 
  • Pray for the students discipled through BSM to go on to transform the world with the Gospel.
