Cyndi Crawford first served in ministry through Celebrate Recovery at The Heights from 2010–2018. In 2019, the Lord called her to minister among Native communities in northwest Nebraska and Pine Ridge, South Dakota. What began as her own vision has become God’s greater plan—to share the hope and healing she experienced through Christ and recovery with others in deep need. Today, her ministry spans recovery programs, jail outreach, chaplaincy, and trauma-informed equine-assisted healing. Cyndi’s heart is to bring God’s message of freedom and restoration to “the least of these.” 

Cyndi’s ministry reaches people on the margins with both practical help and spiritual hope. Through recovery groups, jail outreach, and community service, she is helping to restore lives broken by addiction, incarceration, and poverty. 

Recovery & Discipleship 

• Lead Christ-centered recovery ministries among Native nations in Pine Ridge and Alliance. 
• Share her own story of freedom from pride, anger, bitterness, and depression through Christ. 

Jail & Chaplaincy Ministry 

• Minister to incarcerated women, maintaining relationships after release. 
• Provide hygiene items, food, shelter assistance, job encouragement, and mentoring. 
• Serve as a certified chaplain, working to establish transitional homes for women leaving incarceration. 

Community Outreach 

• Partner with churches to distribute warm clothing for youth and hygiene kits for homeless veterans. 
• Support new churches with practical needs, such as helping install heat and leading children’s VBS programs. 

Faith-Based Equine Assisted Healing (FBEAH) 

• Use equine-assisted healing as a tool for trauma recovery, teaching coping skills rooted in Scripture and prayer. 
• Continue training and working with horses to expand this unique ministry.
