As followers of Jesus, we’re all sent—right where we live, work, and learn. And for some of us, that calling extends to going on a short term mission trip. This summer The Heights is sending mission teams to Mexico City, the Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Uganda to share the gospel, serve the vulnerable, and partner with missionaries who are planting churches and transforming communities. Whether you’re called to evangelize in bustling city centers, care for abandoned children, provide medical care, or train pastors, there’s a place for you on one of these teams. (Scholarships are available.) Applications are due April 15.

If you’ve ever felt nervous or unsure about how to talk with your kids about bodies, boundaries, and sex, you’re not alone. Our hope is that parents feel equipped and encouraged to have more than “one big talk.”

On Sunday, April 26, Megan Michelson with Birds & Bees will lead a live program designed for parents of younger children. You’ll walk through a simple, practical strategy that helps you build a foundation for future conversations—starting earlier than most of us expect.

Many parents arrive feeling intimidated about the topic and leave feeling confident, supported, and ready to keep the conversation going at home.
