For the past decade, The Heights has partnered with Dan and Agie Douglas to bring medical care, pastor training, and the hope of the gospel to Uganda. Through this partnership, lives have been transformed, churches have been planted, and communities have experienced the love of Christ in tangible ways.

Pictured below, is one of several of the water wells that The Heights has helped fund for the people in Southern Uganda. Many of the common health issues in this area are caused by waterborne pathogens due to the lack of clean drinking water. Many of these wells are being constructed next to church plants that Dan and Agie are helping build.

In the Fall of 2024, The Heights sent a team of 8 church members to help Dan & Agie provide medical care, pastor training, kids programming, and more! The team was amazed to see how God moved while they were there, but also how God had already been moving before they came, with so many already knowing Jesus!

“I saw joy from pain. I saw healing from abuse. I saw children stepping up and helping raise other children. Never did I hear a complaint. Never did I hear whining or sorrow. The children had JOY, the adults had JOY despite their sufferings. Despite their hardships, poverty, lack of clean water. God didn’t show up when we arrived, He was there the whole time, working in their hearts and minds. They were thankful for HIS presence, peace, and provisions.”
