MEMBERSHIP AT THE HEIGHTS
If you’re looking for a church to call home, we’d love for you to consider becoming a member at The Heights. Membership isn’t just about showing up on Sundays—it’s about being part of a family. It’s about belonging to a community where you are known, loved, and challenged to grow in your faith.
To become a member of The Heights Church, you need to:
- Profess Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. If you are unsure of what this means, scroll to the bottom of this page to learn more.
- Be baptized by immersion. To find out more about baptism, and/or to schedule your baptism, click here.
- Attend Membership Class!
At The Heights, we believe that church is more than a place you go; it’s a people you walk with. Membership means linking arms with others in commitment to live out the gospel together. It means saying, “This is my community. These are my people. This is where I’m planted.” It’s an intentional step into shared life—serving, giving, growing, and going on mission together.
The best way to explore membership is by attending one of our Membership Classes. In this class, we’ll unpack what we believe, share the vision and values that shape our church, and help you discover how you can find your place in what God is doing here.
Whether you’re new or have been attending for a while, if you’re ready to move from attending to truly belonging, we’d love to see you there.
THE PROCESS
Snapshot Lunch
If you’re new to The Heights and haven’t yet attended a Snapshot Lunch, this is the perfect first step. Held right after our 11 AM Worship Service in the Upper Atrium, Snapshot Lunches are a relaxed, no-pressure way to get to know us.
You’ll enjoy a free lunch, meet some of our staff, take a quick tour of the building, and get a brief overview of our mission, ministries, and how you can get connected. It’s a simple, low-commitment opportunity to explore what life at The Heights is all about.
Attending Snapshot is not required for membership, but it is a great place to start! Check the calendar below to see upcoming dates and register—we’d love to meet you!
Membership Class
Our Membership Class is the official pathway to becoming part of our church family at The Heights.
In this class, you’ll dive deeper into who we are, what we believe, and how you can fully engage in the life of our church. We’ll walk through our core beliefs, help you connect with a Life Group, discover serving opportunities that fit your gifts, and more. It’s a meaningful step toward belonging, not just attending.
