  • What do you like to eat for breakfast?

ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER

Morning Time

When you go into your child’s room, cuddle them and say: "Good morning, [child's name]! It's another happy day because Jesus is alive!"

Drive Time

While on the go, talk about all the things you like to eat for breakfast. Then say: "After Jesus went away and came back, Jesus made fish and bread for breakfast for His friends, the disciples. Jesus wants to be our friend forever too. What do you think Jesus would make us for breakfast?"

Cuddle Time

Cuddle with your child and pray: "Dear God, when we have days that aren't happy, help us remember how much You love us and that Jesus wants to be our friend forever. Jesus is the best friend, and knowing Jesus helps make every day a happy day!"

Bath Time

Add toy food items to bath time. Encourage your child to pretend to make breakfast. Say: "After Jesus went away and came back, Jesus made breakfast for His friends, the disciples. The disciples were so happy to see Jesus again! It was such a happy day!"
