Hello there, family! Wednesday has come and gone, and it was another fantastic day! Today held school time for both the York and Middlesbrough teams, along with some evening youth clubs. The Spain team had a similar day as yesterday, spending the morning & afternoon in Salt and the evening in Girona building relationships through park ministry.

God is moving in very tangible ways amongst our teams and in the ministry they’re getting to do. Read below for more stories!

Today was day two of serving in the school, Vale of York, and my faith in the kids we are serving only grows stronger. Yesterday, I did not get the chance to teach in a Religious Education class, but today I did. Not only did the Lord give me peace of mind when teaching, I felt he gave me a sense of urgency. When I stepped in front of the class I got a surge of excitement for the kids and what they were about to hear. As we taught the lesson, the kids were somewhat engaged in conversation, but conversation in small groups was more difficult. I was able to share my story with them, and the three circles. Even though most of the students weren’t interested in hearing what I had to say, the Lord still gave me a feeling of assurance. My prayer this week as we continue to teach and serve the kids is He will place a pebble in their shoe, and that He will continue to give us the words that will make the kids want to learn more about the Kingdom of God.

It has been such a blessing to serve in Girona, Spain these past few days and I am in awe of how the Lord has orchestrated each opportunity for us to share our faith. This morning, we traveled to Salt, Spain and set up glitter tattoos, bubbles, and chalk. It was so sweet to play with the kids and continue to build relationships with them. Today was a very exciting day in Salt because Elle, Paige, and Kate were able to share the gospel with a Muslim boy today! Additionally, about 20 kiddos attentively listened to the story of Adam and Eve that we shared, and one boy actually took the story Bible home because he was so intrigued! We were able to hand Fluid (the local ministry we are partnering with) flyers to each kid so they could bring it home to their families too.

In the afternoon, we headed to a local park in Girona and God showed up in big ways. Kate and I met a mom and her daughter on Monday and felt a sense of urgency to pray for them last night. We didn’t see them at the park yesterday and God had placed it on our heart to share our stories with the mom. We prayed that we might see them today, and we did! We were able to practice our Spanish more and communicate with her. Kate felt very compelled to share our testimonies with her tonight, and I will honestly say that I might’ve waited another day had it not been for Kate. It definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone, and I was thankful for Kate and for the Holy Spirit prompting her for us to share tonight. I think this will allow us to continue to build a great relationship with her the rest of our time here and allow her to ask us questions! It was definitely a God moment because Mollie had been prayer walking, and when she returned she saw us sharing our testimonies with the mom, which she had specifically be praying for.

If you could be praying for our team that we would push past the exhaustion and would rely on the joy of the Lord for our strength, it would be so appreciated! Also, if you could pray over the sweet kids and parents we have met that the Lord would continue to give us opportunities to share the gospel and have intentional conversations. Lastly, if you could be praying for the Parnell’s, Raquel, and her Dad. Their willingness to serve the Lord is inspiring and their love for the people of their city is incredible.

Thanks be to God for who He is and what He’s doing. After all that we’ve walked through thus far and still have ahead of us, these verses ring true as our cry!

Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
    How unsearchable his judgments,
and his paths beyond tracing out!
“Who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been his counselor?”
“Who has ever given to God,
    that God should repay them?”
For from him and through him and for him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen.

-Romans 11:33-36
