Good morning! We can’t believe today is already our last full day of serving! Yesterday was another amazing day of us getting to serve all across the community in the morning and then come back together for some cultural training on Catholicism with our Heights in Spanish pastor Miguel Lopez. After that we had some time to debrief in our family groups before we gathered to worship the Lord through song and talking more about the Kingdom of God in Matthew 6 and 13. Then we were commissioned out into the apartments for another night of VBS, where the Lord did some amazing things!!! Read below to hear more stories!
Last night at La Mirada I was part of the skit. Afterward we asked questions and a few kids answered a lot of questions. They seemed interested but without connection. Playing with them all night made me remember why God loves us. I’m interested in continuing hanging out with them, and I hope to talk to them about Jesus tonight.

Last night I got a little tired in the first hour so I sat down. While I was sitting down I asked God to bring someone to me and give me a chance to share the Good News with them. I AM NOT JOKING, 20 seconds later a man sits right next to me and introduces himself. He told me about his hardships and I told him that even those these things may occur that I have a greater hope because of Jesus. It was amazing to see God work like that! I can’t wait for today.

Miracles took place last night, and I got to walk along side them. I felt Christ work through me with two of the sweetest girls! One girl I was hanging out with all night opened up to me about how she felt about Jesus. The conversation just got moving and before you knew it me, her, Elle, and the girl’s sister were all walking through 3 Circles together and explaining who Jesus is. Both of the girls surrendered their lives to Christ and asked him into their hearts!!! I had the amazing opportunity to co-lead the prayer as they accepted Jesus Christ with my sister-in-Christ Elle.

Join us in praying for the Lord to continue moving in power among us and draw us closer to Himself, giving us His heart for the world!
