LEADERHUB

Welcome

This page is dedicated to resourcing our Life Group Leaders to lead, disciple, and minister to our church family! Here you’ll find our current curriculum as well as a supplemental resource library and other general information pertaining to your role as leaders! We are so grateful to minister to The Heights alongside gifted and dedicated leaders who have responded to the call of the Great Commission to go and make disciples.

Volunteer at The Best Week Ever!

Every year, it takes hundreds of volunteers to make VBS the Best Week Ever! From leading a group to working behind the scenes, there are so many ways to serve — and get a front-row seat to what God is doing.

We’re praying boldly that God will bring the right leaders, and we’d love for you to be part of the answer!

Greeter — Be the first smiling face every morning, welcoming kids and families as they arrive.

Group Leader — Spend the week sharing your love for Jesus with a group of kiddos!

Care Team — Serve snacks and bring the fun at your own activity station!

Childcare is provided for volunteers with children ages birth through 4 (those not entering Kindergarten this fall). Once you sign up to serve, you’ll receive a link to register your child for the week.

Alpha

Do you, or some you know, have questions about God, faith, and life? Come to Alpha!

Alpha is a ten-week course where people bring their neighbors, friends, and coworkers to share a (FREE) meal together, hear a talk about the Christian faith, and then talk in small groups about our beliefs and thoughts on life, faith, and God. Oh, and there’s free childcare too!

2026 Curriculum

Our hope for your Life Group is to know Jesus through His Word and His people. This year we are offering three distinct curriculum options — RightNow Media, Message Guide, and Inductive Bible Study —to accommodate the degree of facilitator experience as well as the unique learning styles and preferences in your Life Group.

By offering three unique curriculum tracks, we hope to equip every Life Group to know Jesus more through His Word and His people. Often, its best to interweave these curriculum options into your year to find out what learning style (and even curriculum track) your Life Group is most suited.

RightNow Media offers a video-based curriculum featuring renowned and trusted Bible teachers who guide participants through books of the Bible. This platform is ideal for creative, practical learners and those who benefit from structured, multimedia teaching and facilitation guides.

The Message Guide is designed for those who prefer a more dynamic approach, allowing individuals to engage deeper with Sunday’s message and apply it to their lives through discussion and personal reflection. Message Guides are available the Friday before the message is preached, so Life Groups can use them if they meet at 9:30am or 11:00am.

“Rethinking Success” Discussion Guide

The Inductive Bible Study option is tailored for those who seek a hands-on, analytical approach to Scripture, encouraging participants to discover biblical truths through observation, interpretation, and application. For this option, simply choose a book of the Bible and work through it together as a Life Group.

Here’s a few studies to get your started!

If you’re looking for a particular book of the Bible – we’d be happy to set you up with a Smallgroup.com account where you can view, edit and download thousands of small group studies! Email [email protected] to get started!

WILL THERE BE SPECIFIC CURRICULUM FOR ALL LIFE GROUPS?

Yes. In 2025, we will be focusing on prayer and fasting as a church. On March 23, June 1, and November 30, we are requesting that Life Groups facilitate three lessons that will be provided called “A Praying Life.”

WHY DO WE HAVE SUGGESTED CURRICULUM TRACTS?

To help your Life Group know Jesus through His Word and His people, we are offering three distinct curriculum options — RightNow Media, Message Guide, and Inductive Bible Study —to accommodate the degree of facilitator experience as well as the unique learning styles and preferences in your Life Group.

By offering three unique curriculum tracks, we hope to equip every Life Group to know Jesus more through His Word and His people. Often, its best to interweave these curriculum options into your year in order to find out what learning style (and even curriculum track) your Life Group is most suited.
