FELLOWS PROGRAM

WHAT IS THE HEIGHTS FELLOWS PROGRAM?

Heights Fellows Program exists to equip college-aged young adults with the knowledge, training, and care they need to become lifelong disciple-makers and future church leaders. Through weekly teaching, intentional discipleship, hands-on ministry experience, and leadership development, Fellows are challenged to deepen their biblical literacy, grow in character, and actively serve the local church. This 10-15 hour per week program is designed for students with a passion for ministry who want to be trained, stretched, and sent out for gospel impact — both on their campus, in their workplace and for the rest of their lives.

    FELLOWS PROGRAM COMPONENTS

    Weekly Trainings

Fellows participate in a two-hour weekly training led by key Heights staff, designed to deepen their biblical literacy, develop ministry skills, and grow as servant leaders. Trainings cover core doctrine, principles of ministry leadership, key issues in church leadership, and practical tools for disciple-making, with required reading, assignments, and an 80% attendance expectation.

    Ministry Practicum

Throughout the week, Fellows serve in a specific ministry area within the church, where they are given meaningful leadership opportunities aligned with their gifts, passions, and calling. Under the guidance of staff leaders, Fellows gain hands-on experience, develop practical ministry skills, and contribute to the ongoing work of disciple-making in the life of our church.

    Discipleship Groups

Each Fellow is placed in a Discipleship Group for the duration of the program, creating space for intentional spiritual formation, personal encouragement, and accountability. Led by trusted leaders, these groups foster deep community and provide a context for Fellows to process what they’re learning, grow in Christlikeness, and be personally invested in throughout their journey.
