LYNDA THOMAS
South Asia

Lynda, originally from South Asia, became a believer in the U.S. and felt called by God to return to her homeland to share the Gospel with the unreached. Her journey began during a sermon series on Revelation and while watching the film Sheep Among Wolves, which revealed God’s heart for the nations. Through resources like the Joshua Project, she learned that nearly half the world’s population remains unreached, burdening her heart deeply. Discipleship and evangelism training equipped her to share the Gospel and prepared her for overseas ministry. After much prayer, Lynda clearly sensed God’s call to serve in South Asia.

In South Asia, Lynda will work in a densely populated city of 25 million, a hub of religious and socio-economic diversity. As part of a team, she will help equip local believers to take ownership of proclaiming Christ, discipling new believers, and establishing healthy, reproducing churches. Their efforts focus on training local people and churches to share their faith through personal testimonies, spiritual conversations, and acts of love toward their neighbors. Believing that the Gospel is the only hope for all peoples, Lynda and her team labor in prayer and action for God’s Kingdom to expand in this region. Set your alarms for 12:12, and join the team in praying for God’s Kingdom to flourish in South Asia!
