Opening Prayer
Compassionate God, You know every joy and sorrow of my heart. You made me for relationship—with You and with others. As I reflect today, help me to be honest, not afraid. Heal what is broken, and bless what is good. Amen.
Scripture
· Proverbs 4:23
· 1 John 4:7–8
· Ecclesiastes 4:9–10
Reflection
Your emotional life and relationships reflect where you’ve been spiritually and personally:
· What three to five emotions were most present this year?
· When did you feel most alive? Most vulnerable? Most loved?
· Who were your closest relationships?
· Have your connections brought life or loneliness?
· What kind of relationships are you longing for?
Application
· Today’s Practice: Reach out to someone who has been a gift to you this year. Thank them specifically.
· Bonus Challenge: If you’ve felt lonely or isolated, take one intentional step toward connection—join a group, make a phone call, or initiate a new friendship.
· Carry This With You: Pause throughout the day when you feel strong emotions. Ask, “What is this feeling telling me? Where is God in this?”
Closing Prayer
Loving Father, thank You for the people You’ve placed in my life. Help me to love well and to seek out life-giving community. Teach me to guard my heart and give it wisely. Amen.
