DAN DOUGLAS
Greater Masaka Region, Uganda

Dan Douglas is a dedicated 34-year-old medical doctor from Uganda- Mityana who has devoted the past decade of his life to serving as a medical missionary in the Greater Masaka region (Rakai) with a passion for healing and a heart for humanitarian work. He has tirelessly worked to provide medical care to those in need in this underserved community. He is also involved in training pastors through the TEE program and starting up new churches in areas of Rakai. Many pastors have been trained and certified by The Heights mission church.

Throughout his years, Dan has witnessed the struggles and challenges faced by the people of Greater Masaka including limited access to health care facilities and the devastating effects of poverty on health. Despite the obstacles, he remains steadfast in his commitment to making a difference in the lives of those he serves.

Dan approaches his work with compassion, empathy, and a deep sense of purpose. He understands the importance of not only addressing immediate medical needs but also empowering individuals to take control of their health and wellbeing. Dan has become a beacon of hope through his unwavering dedication and selfless service. The impacts extend far beyond the confines of a medical clinic as he strives to uplift and transform the lives of those he encounters, one patient at a time. He is married to Agnes Birungi Nakabiri and have two biological children, 1 foster child and two others under their care.
