While others evaluated David based on appearance, God looked deeper. This passage reminds us that human judgment is limited, but God’s understanding is complete. He sees what others overlook and values what others dismiss.
Being misunderstood by people can leave us questioning our worth. God counters that insecurity by reminding us that His perspective is truer and more lasting.
You may not always be understood by others—but you are fully seen by God.
