Scripture:
Romans 8:31–39
Devotional Thought:
Intimacy with God rests on an unshakable foundation: nothing can separate us from His love. Paul lists every imaginable threat—suffering, fear, failure, even death—and declares that none of them have the power to sever God’s grip on us.
This truth steadies us when emotions fluctuate. Intimacy is not maintained by how close God feels, but by how faithful He is. Even when we doubt, withdraw, or struggle, His love remains constant.
As this week closes, remember that intimacy with God is not fragile. You are fully known, deeply loved, and securely held.
Reflection:
• What causes you to doubt God’s nearness?
• How does this passage challenge those doubts?
Application:
End the week thanking God for His unchanging love, even when feelings waver.
