March 24: Drawing Near Without Fear

Scripture:
Hebrews 4:14–16; Hebrews 10:19–25

Devotional Thought:
Many people long for intimacy with God but still approach Him cautiously, unsure if they’re truly welcome. Hebrews dismantles that fear. Because of Jesus, access to God is no longer restricted or fragile. The invitation is clear: draw near with confidence.

This confidence is not rooted in our consistency, but in Christ’s faithfulness. Jesus does not merely make intimacy possible—He secures it. The barrier has been removed, and the invitation stands regardless of our emotional state or spiritual performance.

If intimacy feels distant, it may not be because God has pulled away, but because fear has held you back. Scripture reminds us that God’s throne is not a place of rejection, but of grace.

Reflection:
• Do you approach God with confidence or hesitation?
• What fears keep you from drawing near?

Application:
Pray honestly today, trusting that God welcomes your full presence.
