March 18: Welcomed into God’s Family

Scripture:
Ephesians 2:11–22

Devotional Thought:
Paul reminds the church that belonging is not something we achieve—it’s something God gives. Those once far off have been brought near. Strangers have become family. Outsiders have been welcomed home.

Belonging in Christ dismantles barriers we often rebuild: background, status, shame, history. In Jesus, we are no longer defined by what separates us but by who unites us. God doesn’t just forgive us; He adopts us into His household.

If you’ve ever wondered whether you truly belong, this passage answers clearly: in Christ, you are no longer an outsider.

Reflection:
• Where do you feel like an outsider in your life right now?
• What makes it hard for you to fully believe you belong in God’s family?

Application:
Remind yourself today that your belonging is secured by Christ, not earned by effort.
