Scripture:
Psalm 139:1–18
Devotional Thought:
Belonging doesn’t begin with being accepted by others—it begins with being fully known by God. Psalm 139 reminds us that God knows us completely, not selectively. Every thought, every word, every hidden place is already seen and loved.
What makes this knowing so powerful is that it leads to care, not rejection. God’s knowledge of us is personal and intentional. We are not overlooked or forgotten. We are known before we are known by anyone else.
When human relationships fall short, this psalm anchors us in a deeper truth: you already belong to the One who knows you best.
Reflection:
• What parts of yourself do you feel tempted to hide from others?
• How does it change things to know God already sees and loves those parts?
Application:
Spend time today thanking God for one specific way He knows you deeply and personally.
