
This morning, as we celebrate Mother’s Day with cards, flowers, and phone calls, let’s stop for a minute and take a look at God’s will for moms. We find it in a letter the Apostle Paul wrote to the Thessalonian church. All of us, including moms, are commanded to do three things: be joyful, pray, and give thanks. Sounds simple - right? But when the pressures of everyday life start to set in, sometimes those three simple things are not so simple after all. Let’s look at what Paul has to say.
