What the Ministry can do for you:

  • Add your name to the Jobseekers prayer list
  • Free access to Crossroads Career Network! This Christian based job seeker portal offers a vast amount of resources and tools. Visit our resources page for more info - Resources.
  • Access to the Career Direct Assessment tool from Crown Financial Ministries at a much-reduced rate of only $20.
  • Include your resume in the Job Seekers book located in the administration building on the south end of the church. (Your resume will remain in the book for 90 days from the date of posting. It is your responsibility to inform us if your resume is still valid before the 90-day period has expired).
  • A Jobseeker "Survival Kit" is available for download.
  • Provide encouragement and prayer. JSM team members are available to help you if you have questions or just need someone to talk to regarding your search.
  • Provide ongoing communication regarding events in the community that can also help in your search.
  • Job Opportunities are posted online and can be reviewed anytime.
  • Free Jobseeker Workshops held twice a year (Sept 18th, 2010).

What you can do for yourself:

  • Review the survival kit. There are places listed were you could join networking groups, learn interview techniques and review resume samples among other things. It is a very valuable guide.
  • Review the Job Posting book located in the administration building. This book will have many current openings that have been forwarded to THBC along with a description of the position, requirements and application procedures provided by the hiring company.
  • Review the website weekly. There will be new positions posted to the website as well as upcoming events.
  • Tell us how you’re doing. As this is a new ministry, we want to know if we have helped you find a new position as well as any other feedback you may provide.
