Eggstravaganza
Eggstravaganza 2008 took place on March 15 at Breckenridge Park in Richardson with an egg hunt, live drama, bounce houses, and a petting zoo. Eggstravaganza 2009 will take place on April 4th, so mark your calendars now.

Fall Festival
The 2007 Fall Festival took place on our church grounds Wednesday, October 24 from 6-8pm. Several Preschool activities included...A petting zoo, face painting, and bounce houses.

Tiny Tots and Tunes
Tiny Tots is a time of music, movement, instruments, prayer and worship with your child. Registration and small fee is required for this 10 week class. In addition a caregiver is mandatory. Space is limited to 12 per class. Birth - 17 Months meets from 9:30-10:30am, and 18 Months - Age 3 meets from 10:30-11:30am.

Are you a mother of a preschooler?
If you are, we have a great program available for you.
Morning MOPS(Mothers of Preschoolers) will meet the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at 9:15 to have breakfast, hear a speaker, have prayer time, and make a craft. If you have any questions about the MOPS program, please call Rachel Young at 972.424.4240.

Baby Dedication: Blessing the Next Generation
Our newborn babies are very important to us at The Heights. We, as a church, are "intentional" about publicly blessing each baby while committing to support the parents as they begin their parenting journey. Each month during our worship service, on the second and fifth Sunday mornings, part of the service is set-aside for this time of blessing. Our babies and their parents are introduced to our church family, and our pastor leads the parents and the church in partnering to bless the child.

• The parents are asked to covenant to: Commit to raise the child in the church; commit to be an active participant in keeping God's church healthy and strong; commit themselves to work together cooperatively to foster an environment where love is expressed and the teaching of Jesus are followed.
• The church body is asked to covenant to: Nurture and preserve a community of blessing; lift the family up in prayer; teach the child; maintain a fellowship that is united in spirit.

Parent's Night Out
Parent’s Night Out offers care to babies through the 6th grade using age appropriate activities.

Reservations and payment must be made in person at the registration table (found near the large aquarium to the south of the worship center) two to three weeks prior to the event. The table will be in the corridor near the aquarium just outside of JOYLAND.

Payment is due at time of registration and is non-refundable. The cost is as follows:
1 Child $11.00
2 Children $18.00
3 Children $20.00
Maximum per family $25.00

Beginning at 6:30 p.m. children may arrive for the evening.
Children must be picked up before 10:30 p.m.
Late charges will be applied to families who do not pick up their children by 10:30pm.

Parent's Night Out is not available during summer months.
