Jon Burns

Jon Burns is senior pastor of Yarm Vineyard church, as well as Director of Tees Valley Youth For Christ. He is married to Sandra and has two girls. He lives in Yarm a small town in the North East of England where he planted the new church 4 years ago. He is passionate about young people, the future of church and football (soccer). He was Director of the exciting mission programme NE1, which in July 2006, released the biggest missional activity in the area for over 20 years.

Tees Valley Youth for Christ

Tees Valley Youth for Christ is a local centre of British Youth for Christ. Founded in 2002 as the 57th regional centre for YFC, it is expanding quickly. It works in partnership with around 40 local churches. Their involvement in over 12 secondary schools and in numerous church youth clubs has grown the team to 17 people this year. The partnership with mainly Baptist churches across Texas has fuelled the accelerated growth of the centre.
