What I am most excited for in the next few months: Planning a nursery for our new baby on the way & starting the school year in the student ministry!

I personally connect with people at The Heights by: Quality, hang-out time preferably over good food.

Favorite Bible passage of the last two months & how it impacted my world:
"Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy and slander of every kind. Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, not that you have tasted that the Lord is good." 1 Peter 2:1-3

As I have come into this position as an intern, it has become even clearer that my role is to guide the students through example. Girls should be able to come to me and look to me for biblical advice and guidance, while still considering my own heart in every situation. This verse is a reminder that I must always be seeking the Lord. My goal daily to “grow up” in my salvation by desiring His Word and teaching students to desire who He is wholeheartedly.

My neighbors would describe me as: The crazy mom who plays baseball with her son, even in 110 degree weather! “The Aggie Family on the Block!”

Favorite thing about living in Dallas: The amount of family we have close by and the diversity in the area.
 
My dream vacation would be: Visiting my Grandpa's hometown in Italy
