ENGAGE
To reach the world as Jesus commissions, the people of The Heights must engage society locally, across the nation, and around the globe. A mission of such magnitude includes engaging people where they live, work, learn, play and raise their families. When the people of The Heights engage with neighbors near and far, people will know they are loved not only by what we say, but also what we do.
The Heights is engaging people locally, nationally, and globally because people matter to God. Our places of engagement include locations where we continue to be used by God as catalysts for the gospel and life change. We believe God moves along the rails of relationships. As we develop relationships for the purpose of evangelism, we will serve and share with others the message of Jesus Christ. While The Heights continues to engage as a catalyst church in places such as Bulgaria and England, we will also pioneer new places of engagement locally in the surrounding Dallas Metroplex, expanding nationally to places such as Austin, Las Vegas, and New York, and will move globally to places such as Uganda.
As we engage in people's lives, we pray God will bring life change resulting in transformation in these places. We will know transformation has occurred when people's minds are changed about who God is thus allowing for God then to change their hearts for all eternity.
