We believe each child is a gift from the Lord, therefore we take it
seriously that we are called to raise them up to know the Lord and understand His
character and desires for the lives of the children that make their place of worship here
at The Heights. There are three things within the Children’s Ministry that we strive
to do:
To lay the foundation for a
child to accept Jesus Christ as
Savior.
To guide children to grow and
develop in Christ-likeness (moral and
spiritual values).
To prepare children for a life
of service to the Lord.
In
all of our programs we teach concepts about God, Jesus, and the
Bible through activity areas and group time because we are laying
the foundation for their spiritual growth as they learn by "doing." Your children will experience an exciting, fun and safe environment with classes led by caring adults who will help them get to know God in a real and personal way.
Children
are a priority at The Heights, and we view our responsibilities
to nurture the next generation as biblical. Our leaders will do everything possible to guide your children in their spiritual journey. We realize that parents and guardians are the primary spiritual leaders in the home, so we also offer tools to equip you as you instill biblical truths and values with your child.
