Have you been our guest at The Heights and wondered what your next step might be? You can visit with one of our staff or trained encouragers at the end of a worship service on Sunday morning. You might enjoy finding out more about the church at a Discovery Dessert or consider joining at a Membership 101.
These desserts are designed to give you an opportunity to get to know more about The Heights, the different ministries we offer, and discover how they can help meet the needs of you and your family. Discovery Desserts begin with an informal dessert time, followed by an opportunity to meet the church staff and find out more about the ministries available through The Heights. Our staff will gladly answer any questions you may have about the church.
Discovery Desserts are held at the home of Pastor Gary & Kim Singleton. Childcare is provided (without meals) at The Heights for children (birth through 6th grade).
Call the church office at 972.238.7243 or email Pam Plummer at to find out the next Discovery Dessert date.
The Heights is a community of faith striving toward "Living Intentionally for Christ." We want to help you become intentional in worship, in Bible study, in serving and in sharing your faith. If you would like to read some specifics on our beliefs, click here.
Becoming a member at The Heights includes discussing what it means to be a follower of Jesus and what it means to be Baptized (Why Be Baptized? - Click to hear a sermon from Dr. Gary Singleton and Dr. David Rogers) after placing your faith in Jesus. The process culminates in our Membership 101 class, which helps each person to understand our commitment to you, as well as your commitment to God and the fellowship of believers known as The Heights. Each class involves a time commitment of about 2 hours on a Sunday morning. To find out when the next Membership 101 will be held, please contact Elaine Esparza at .
Maybe your next step is to get involved with a small group that meets on Sunday mornings. We call those groups Bible Fellowships. We have classes for every age group. To find out more, visit our Grow section of the website.
