Mission Statement:
The FUEL ABF wants to minister to couples, meeting the needs of those both inside and outside the walls of the church by showing Christ through our unusual love and extravagant grace.
Demographics/Culture Summary:
Our families are diverse! Some of us have teenagers (yikes!), but most of us have younger children: babies to early grade-school kiddoes and some of us are just beginning and creating our families! The age range for most couples is between late 20s to mid-40s, and sometimes we have some older folks who like to kick back with us too!
Our jobs are different too! From stay-at-home moms, health care professionals, administrative assistants, teachers, sales account managers, "computer guys,” to consultants: our class is professionally-diverse and talented. When we aren't at "work,” we have lives too. Some scrapbook, golf, hunt, shop, exercise, shoot the bull, and/or take recreational naps!
Service Projects:
Our class has participated in a few different service projects. We really enjoy decorating and have redone two different teacher's lounges for schools in our area. We constantly look for different opportunities to serve in our community as well as serve those within our class.
Miscellaneous:
What is FUEL? We are comprised of several couples who are striving to live a righteous life in an imperfect world! We are definitely far from perfect; in fact, some of us are complete messes from time to time, but a few things we have in common are our love for Jesus, our love for our families, and our devotion to each other as friends through Christ. We meet each Sunday at 9:15 a.m. in the Mezzanine (east side) and socialize, pray, and soak up God's Word. We would love for you to come join us!
