Vision 2010 Series - The Heights Baptist Church in Richardson, Texas

Vision - January 2010 Series

Webster’s defines “intentional” as:

  • Done by intention or design.
  • Not accidental.

Do you approach life with God intentionally?  Do you approach life with God by design ... or by accident?

We at The Heights believe God intends for us to approach our faith in Him intentionally and to follow God by design.  That’s why our mission statement is:

Living Intentionally for Christ

We believe the design that helps us most effectively to live out our faith is to:

  • Worship Intentionally.
  • Grow Intentionally.
  • Serve Intentionally.
  • Share Intentionally.

This Sunday morning we are going to talk about what it means for each of us to grow intentionally in 2010.  Each January I think it is so important for us to be reminded of what our VISION is and how we are going to be about living out the vision throughout the coming year.  May God use this VISION sermon series to focus our hearts and give clarity to that which God wants us to become as a church family.

God Bless,
Gary

SHARE 2010 - Note from John Wills

As we begin a new year in a new decade, we do so with a great deal of hope and vision for this incredible fellowship called The Heights. We believe God has big plans for each of you and for our church this year. God clearly lays out our four core values all throughout the Scriptures – We truly are called to Worship, Grow, Serve, and Share. We are going to give some extra focus to SHARE this year, because, out of all the things Jesus could have spent directed time teaching His disciples, he chose to teach them how to be “fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19).
