Encryption Series - The Heights Baptist Church in Richardson, Texas

Encryption Series

This Sunday we are starting a sermon series called “Encryption.”  It’s actually a study of Matthew 13, where Jesus tells a series of parables that in all honesty are mysterious stories with encrypted messages.

The first one is the encrypted story of soil.  However, we will soon see how the clear part about this story is that Jesus decodes the mystery for us.

The encrypted truth that will emerge from the verses within the text we will look at together on Sunday is this: Condition predicts response.

As we sit with the parable of the soil from Matthew 13 this weekend, we will soon see how the condition of the soil that makes up our hearts, our souls, our lives can very quickly be used to predict the response of our hearts, souls and lives.

Join us this weekend as we gather together to worship and begin a new month of study in this fascinating chapter that Jesus desires for us to wrestle with together.  It will most certainly be worth our time and effort.

God Bless,
Gary

Worship Blogs from the Heights

In an effort to aid our congregation in their preparation for corporate worship and times of private worship, Trent and Logan have begun to update a weekly blog where you can find out what we’ll be singing. In addition, many times the stories or scriptures behind the songs or the composers will be discussed as well. Check out the sites for links so you can experience the songs before we gather, or use it to find out more about a song you connected with in a powerful way. You can also access the blogs through the worship tab at www.theheights.org.
