All In: Heart, Mind, Soul and Strength Series - The Heights Baptist Church in Richardson, Texas

ALL IN: Heart - Mind - Soul - Strength

What is your aspirational goal for your children?  I’m not talking about a goal.  We’ve all got goals.  I’m talking about an aspirational goal ... the highest goal ... the goal into which you are putting sweat equity.  This is the goal that you think about while you’re sitting in the car waiting to pick your child up from soccer practice.

Now I know some are thinking: “Just keep them alive until they’re 21 or so ... so that they can actually start making some wise choices.”

Maybe you’re thinking your highest aspiration is just to get your kids:

  • Out of diapers.
  • Through drivers ed.
  • Out of high school.
  • Get them an education – and off the payroll.

Others just want their kid to be happy.  Is that your highest aspiration?  You want them to grow up healthy, normal, and fairly well-adjusted ... to get an education and a job ... to get married, have kids, buy a house ... and just enjoy a good life.

Do you realize God also has an aspirational goal for your child?  Furthermore, do you realize that He invites you to join Him in making that goal become a reality?

Join us Sunday as we begin a February sermon series called ALL IN that will look at God’s Aspirational goal for our lives.  We will find this ever important and timeless goal outlined in one of the most famous and highly acclaimed chapters in the Old Testament:  Deuteronomy 6.

As we prepare our hearts to hear from and meet with the living God in worship, would you ask God to align all of who you are to all of who He is?  Life is too short and precious to desire anything else.

God Bless,
Gary
